We’re happy to welcome players of all ages. Please note the following:
Children Aged 5 & Under- We do not recommend that children in this age range attend & play, but we do not prohibit it. Children in this age range may only join a Private Event game (though, they will not be counted as a player towards the room’s maximum occupancy) Please notify us via email no later than 1 hour prior to your event to let us know that a child under 5 will be joining your group.
Children Aged 6 – 12 Years Old- If a child in this age range is playing on a peak day (Fri. – Sun.), and if the game is at 4:30 PM or later, the reservation must be for a Private Event, or the reservation holder must fill the room to maximum occupancy.
For any game outside of this described range, reservation holders may include a child aged 6 – 12 as part of a ‘ticket-only’ purchase. This includes a game at any time on an off-peak day (Mon. – Thurs.), or any game prior to 4:30 PM on a peak day (Fri. – Sun.)
Attendees Under the Age of 18- Must always be joined in the room by at least 1 Adult participant.
All ticket sales are final. We are unable to reschedule your game unless it qualifies under our inclement weather policy:
Inclement Weather- If Danbury Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, we will also be closed. Games on these days will be completely refunded or rescheduled (customers choice.) If your game is on a weekend, we will be happy to reschedule your game or issue a refund if the weather is inclement. You must let us know at least 2 hours before your scheduled game time in order to qualify for either.
We will brief you on our House Rules upon your arrival. Each player is expected to adhere to these rules during the game. We will issue two warnings is a rule is broken. On the third warning, we will deduct one minute of game play. Further infractions will result in additional minutes taken from the game. For serious infractions (i.e. safety violations, or items broken due to forceful misuse) we reserve the right to cancel the game- no refunds will be issued.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled game time. If you arrive 30+ minutes early, the doors may be locked. Do not panic- we will be happy to sign you in 15 minutes before your game.

Private Event Bookings
For private event arrivals that are 15+ minutes past the scheduled start time, you may be denied entry without the option to reschedule your game or receive a refund. If you’d still like to play, we will do our best to accommodate you if possible (this is not a promise.) This may mean that you will have time deducted from your game in order for us to remain on schedule.
General Ticket Bookings
General ticket bookings may include 2 or more parties with a reservation. We will start the game on time if at least 1 party is present. For arrivals that are 15+ minutes past the scheduled start time, you may be permitted to join the game after watching our rules video. Please note however that Escape 101 staff is permitted to deny entry if we feel that this would not be appropriate. You will not be offered a refund and we will not reschedule your game.
We reserve the right to charge an incidental fee for items damaged or broken due to forceful misuse and/ or lack of care & concern. This policy also includes the room itself and any or all necessary repairs, replacements, or cleanings that are needed as a result of the guest’s visit.
